The Tablet subscription fund raiser is over on Friday, April 15, 2021.  

Those students who are streaming science class, please go to my google classroom site for the zoom id and password in order to get into the class.  The zoom id and password is subject to change daily, so please check my google classroom in your class and in science.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Here is the 5-1 schedule while we are either in the school building or remote:

8:00-8:15 Principal Winter morning prayers and exercises.

8:15 – 9:00 5-1 Religion class.   

9:00 – 9:47  Math

The protocols found below is for when the children return to the school building for classes.

Protocols for when a student is ill who 

Any individuals who is sent home ill or calls out ill is

required to submit Medical clearance signed by a licensed NYS Medical Professional clearly stating when the individual can return to school

indicate a diagnosis or that the illness was not COVID related.

There are no exceptions to this requirement.

If any individual is not in school, and no notification of the absence was made to the school, school personnel should contact the individual as soon as possible to obtain the reason for the absence.

Please note:  This is based on the information we know today.  This will continue to be monitored as the Pandemic continues to evolve.

Dear Parents/Guardians of Classes 5-1, 5-2, 6-1, and 6-2,

Welcome back to the school year 2020. We hope that you and your families are in good health.We would like to introduce ourselves. Below is a list of the teachers for 5th and 6th grade:

  • Elizabeth Zdonowski 5-1 – Religion 5-1 and Science 5th and 6th grades
  • Mariann Solano 5-2 – Religion 5-2 and ELA 5th and 6th grades
  • Kerry Wright 6-1  – Religion 6-1 and Math 5th and 6th grades
  • Margaret Zoufaly 6-2 – Religion 6-2 and Social Studies 5th and 6th grades

 Covid 19 has changed our way of living and requires us to adjust classroom procedures. Below is a list of the new procedures we all need to follow in order to ensure a safe and healthy environment.

  • No student should come to school if s/he is not feeling well.
  • Each student will have temperature checked daily.
  • Each student must wear a mask all day in school.
  • Each student must maintain a 6 foot social distance whether inside or outside the school building.
  • Each student needs to bring 2 water bottles each day. All water fountains will not be operating.
  • Each student will be given an Ipad with a charger. Ipads MUST be charged at home each night.
  • Students will be required to bring the Ipads and charger to school daily.
  • Students can only use their own pencils and pens. Students can NOT lend or share pencils, pens or other school supplies.
  • School hours are 7:45AM to 1:30PM with no lunch or recess. Students will have a mask/snack break daily.
  • Students should bring a light snack and drink. The drinks can not be in a glass bottle. Drinks must be consumed completely or have a twist top.

Please only bring in following supplies by Wednesday, September 16:

  • 7 notebooks( composition/ no spiral) 
  • 4 folders with pockets
  • 2 large zippered pencil cases
  • Crayons/markers/ colored pencils ( small boxes only) 
  • Package of 2 glue sticks (bring in one glue stick and leave other home)
  • 12” rulers with centimeter markings
  • Safety scissors
  • Package of 2 Highlighters (bring in one highlighter and leave other home)
  • 1 box of 12 sharpened pencils (bring in three pencils and leave others home)
  • 1 package of 12 navy blue pens (bring in three pens and leave others home)
  • 3 containers of clorox wipes
  • 1 large hand sanitizer with pump
  • Headphones
  • ELA and Math summer work are due 9/10/20

Please leave the following supplies home until further notice:          

  •  2 packages of loose leaf
  • 1 calculator
  • 1 roll of paper towels
  • 2 boxes of tissues
  • Clear contact paper for workbooks ( keep at home & cover as your child brings the workbooks  home)
  • 1 package of disposable gloves 
  • 2  packages of Index cards (5×7)
  • 1 package construction paper
