Testing:
Holy Child Jesus Catholic Academy adheres to NYS Next Generation Standards and Diocesan Standards and Testing Regulations. As a requirement to these practices, the following student exams will be administered during the 2023-2024 school year: (Check the school calendar for exact dates) Results are posted on the school website and individual student score reports are sent home to parents in September/October.
Grades K-8 i-Ready Diagnostic Exams Sept/Jan/May
Grades 4,6,7 NYS ELA Assessment Exam April
Grades 4,6,7 NYS Mathematics Assessment Exam May
Grades 5 & 8 NYS Science Lab Performance Assessment May
Grades 5 & 8 NYS Science Written Assessment Exam June
Students not meeting the NYS competency level will receive Academic Intervention Services (AIS). School Results are posted on the school website and individual student score reports are sent home to parents in September.
